Work hours are 8am until 5pm from Monday through Friday.
Noon conferences are typically given by a resident or attending. Resident-driven Tuesday morning conferences are held weekly at 7:15am with the exception of Akron Children's Hospital lectures. Approximately, once a month, pediatric radiology lectures are given by faculty at Akron Children's Hospital lasting a half day.
Tumor boards occur once or twice per week, which are covered by one resident at a time. 1 block will be covered by R1 residents, while 2 blocks will be covered by R2-R4 residents per academic year.
Every few weeks, a senior resident will meet with the Internal Medicine and OB/GYN residents at Aultman for rounds, to answer questions and review pertinent imaging findings.
Nightfloat call consists of two resident at Aultman, one resident 4p-12a and the other resident 12a-8a for 5 day stretches.
Weekend call frequency is typically one call day every other week, last between 13 to 15 hours.
